Who I am.

I’m Lukas Brunbauer, experienced project manager with a background in pioneering, management, entrepreneurship and psychotherapy. My work sits at the intersection of strategy, human development, and impact-driven innovation.

Over the past two decades, I’ve supported organizations, startups, and EU-funded initiatives in turning ambitious ideas into real-world solutions. My focus lies in sustainable development, social innovation, and business transformation. No matter how technological or scientific it has been, at the end of the day it’s always about people.

After growing up in Austria and a basic training in business, I spent several years in South and Central America. Living in Mexico, I worked as an outdoor-trainer, coach, language teacher, and psychotherapist. I liked working with people, listening to the concerns and sorrows and getting a feel for human polemics.

Today, I draw from this experience and approach challenges from a human-centered perspective with a strategic mindset, supporting projects across Europe and beyond. Whether it’s designing partnerships, running scientific work packages, designing business models, accessing funding, or steering innovation from concept to execution — I strive to move from theory to reality with purpose and confidence.

I speak English, Spanish, and German fluently and possess basic knowledge of French. Outside of work, I find balance in movement—through family and friends, sports, travel, and the occasional adventure on two wheels or on the water.

If you’re working on something meaningful and need a reliable partner to help move it forward, I’d be glad to connect.
