As we approach the conclusion of the Phy2Climate project by summer 2025, our focus has shifted towards formulating actionable recommendations for the upscaling and implementation of combined phytoremediation and biofuel production. This groundbreaking initiative aims to create sustainable pathways for managing contaminated sites while contributing to renewable energy goals. I’m particularly humbled to share my most recent engagement with CALMA-TEC noise-protection systems, our family-owned business. This company has been founded and run by my elders and is technologically at the forefront of noise-barrier innovation for road and rail infrastructure.
